Who we are

FOC & ARG Logistics & Supply is a freight forwarder moving cargo between China and Tanzania, with offices in Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar and warehouses in Foshan and Yiwu. If you have a question about this notice, email info@focarg.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into one of the two forms on this site.

• Asking for a quote: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, what you are shipping, roughly how much of it, sea or air, the cities it travels between, and when you need it.
• Sending a message: your name, email address, phone number, subject and message.

What we never ask for

We do not ask for identity numbers, bank or card details, or passwords anywhere on this website. If a page appears to ask you for them, it is not ours — tell us.

Why we collect it

To send you a price and, if you go ahead, to arrange the shipment. That is the whole reason. We do not use it to advertise to you and we do not sell it.

Who sees it

Our own staff in Tanzania and China. Each enquiry is emailed to our sales address and stored in the website admin, which only our staff can sign in to.

If you go ahead with a shipment, the details needed to move and clear your cargo are shared with the parties doing that work — licensed clearing agents, carriers and customs. Nobody else receives it.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie, which remembers the language you chose so you are not sent back to English on every page. There are no advertising cookies and no analytics on this site.

Content from other companies

The contact page shows a Google map, and the site loads an icon stylesheet from Cloudflare. Both can see your internet address because your browser fetches them directly. The WhatsApp and social media buttons are links: nothing is sent until you tap one.

Keeping the forms free of robots

To stop automated spam we briefly count how many submissions come from the same internet address. That count is held in the server’s memory, is never written to our database, and disappears when the site restarts.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in the admin so we can find a past shipment when you come back to us. If you want yours removed, ask and we will delete it.

What you can ask for

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Email info@focarg.com or message us on WhatsApp and we will come back to you.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over an encrypted connection, the admin is password protected, and repeated failed sign-in attempts are locked out. No website can promise perfect security, but we do not keep anything here that we do not need.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
